It's a gurudwara dedicated to the ninth Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. The gurudwara was built at the location where Guru Tegh Bahadur surrendered to Aurangzeb and laid down his arms. It was built in 1610, featuring 12 towers in the Tal, out of which only 8 towers exist. Initially, the Tal was a reservoir and was used for irrigation purposes during the dry season.
